Miami Spice is a great opportunity to see some top-caliber chefs in that center of Miami neighborhood life — Macy’s. This weekend Edgar Leal of Cacao is at Dadeland to showcase some of his Miami Spice dishes. In Aventura, La Marea’s Chef Pietro Rota will demonstrate selections from his Italian and Mediterranean menu. These events may be crowded due to all the press they’ve been getting, so I suggest arriving early. For more info on other upcoming Miami Spice chef demonstrations, check out the website. You may be able to call the stores for seat reservations at the demonstrations.
