I am thrilled that August marks the one year anniversary of Miami Dish! I’m proud of how much the blog has grown. I am delighted when local businesses tell me that customers heard about them on Miami Dish.
The best part of creating this is feeling like there is a real and growing community of people in South Florida who value the same things that are important at Miami Dish: good food, good stories, and good conversation. I’m so excited for what’s to come! I hope that community continues to thrive.
So now it’s time to thank my readers. This coming week you can find several contests on the blog as part of a Miami Dish anniversary celebration. I thank all of the local businesses, as well as the FoodBuzz folks, for helping me provide you with these prizes.
The winner of this first contest gets:
· A FoodBuzz farmers’ market bag, made of organic cotton and complete with Miami Dish button, which you can remove and place wherever you like.
· A lovely two ounce tin of hibiscus tea from Theine teahouse in Coral Gables. This is my favorite summer iced tea. You can reuse the tin for other loose teas or spices.
