Happy Holidays, Miami Style: Your Lechon Feast Shopping List

I found this list at my local Publix.  Isn’t it great that you can find a list like this in your Miami supermarket (with both English and Spanish items listed)?

My Miami love swells during the holidays.  I revel in gaudy light displays strung over wrought iron bars, the sound of all night parties pumping “El Burrito Sabanero” and  those same two songs by El Gran Combo…(a comer lechon, a comer gandules!”)  Friends come home for the holidays and I show them all that they’ve been missing…food trucks, the churros, a batido from Palacio, and now all of the new farmers markets!.  So, I’m sharing this list with you and wishing you happy, healthy holidays!  Would love to see pics of your holiday spreads, so please do share if you get a spare moment in between the egg nog (blech!) and the pan de jamon!
